Kate Helps Lead SCOB’s Senior TOI Team to 1st Place at Nationals!

TOI Nationals Kate, who is now officially the staff choreographer for all of the Skating Club of Boston’s Theatre on Ice teams, choreographed the Senior-level National Champion Theatre on Ice (TOI) team Act 1 of BostonTheir CE  was to “Crazy” by Alice Russell and their free skate was entitled “Love Dance,” with musical selections from Cirque de Soleil. Kate was as absolutely thrilled and honored to a part of their gold medal win at 2014 U.S. Nationals this summer in Michigan.

(The team finished in 4th place at 2013 nationals and won a silver medal in the 2012 competition.) They have been invited to compete at the international “Nation’s Cup” competition in France next April.

An open casting call will be held in September as the team starts to prepare for Nationals 2015, to defend their title!
