In addition to her performance at the grand opening of the city’s new downtown ice rink over Thanksgiving weekend, Kate was also honored to be the “Grand Marshall” for the Lexington, Kentucky, 2011 Christmas parade this year.
Her figure skating was also featured during the UK Opera Theater’s annual “Celebration of Song” concert featuring Christmas carols performed by Alltech vocal scholarship winners at Victorian Square Shoppes. (Kate appears at about the 16:00 minute mark of the show.)
