Kate Serves as the Assistant Director of Worlds 2016 in Boston

Kate McSwain at Worlds 2016Melanie Lambert, Director and Producer of the 2016 World Championships’ opening ceremonies in Boston, has selected Kate to serve as Assistant Director for the event.

Kate is managing on-site event coordination and logistics and working closely with choreographer Adam Blake.

The opening ceremonies will be a 30-minute performance using about 20 professional show skaters who are flying in from around the world. The choreography will be tribute to Boston’s history, from the Revolutionary War all the way to today.

The production will feature a fife and drum band, bagpiper, a fire act, and many more surprises. Watch a preview video now:

Worlds 2016 will be held at TD Garden from March 10 – April 3. Opening ceremonies is at 5pm Wednesday, March 30.
