Kate Choreographs for the U.A.E.’s Top Skater

Kate recently worked with Zahra Lari, the “Ice Princess in Hijab,” when Lari traveled to the U.S. for her programs’ choreography this season.

An international Junior-level competitor, Lari made figure skating history earlier this year when she became not only the first figure skater from the Persian Gulf to participate in an international competition, but also the first to do so wearing the Islamic headscarf.

As featured in Abu Dhabi Week magazine, Kate choreographed segments of Lari’s short and long programs and said she looks forward to seeing them develop even more in the upcoming season!
